Never forget that veterans are an ever shrinking minority with ever dwindling political capital to spend. Sadly, this is true in a time when nothing is accomplished in the District of Calamity (or state houses) without spending more and more political capital. Thus, we must do as we did on the field of battle, take care of each other

We need to belong to organizations like the American Legion, VFW, DAV, and Amvets, and get younger vets to join us. There is strength and power in numbers. CPT Jack Durish
