I want to know what people think about what this politician had to say. I am not going to mention his name, just curious about what people had to say about his comments. I have had conversations with friends of mine and the responses have been all over the place and I thought what a better place than RallyPoint to ask them their opinion!!

I think he believes he can feed people a load of crap and they'll eat it, his thinking would relieve him of much of his accountability.

SPC Diana D. This is the very reason I don't watch the news or get involved with politics. The government pays his salary and we pay taxes to the government - he's full of crap - they all are. Sorry, this is my down on Congress week! I'm disappointed with them all Diana. Both parties. What happened to we work for the people of this country?

COL Mikel J. Burroughs It kind of reminds me of the teacher strike here in Oklahoma. Nobody was against giving teachers pay raises and giving funding to schools but what most of us wanted was to know where the money was going first before we had the biggest tax raise in our state's history. And all of this happened after the people voted to not raise taxes to pay for the teaches raise and school funding, but they decided they didn't care what the voters thought they went ahead and passed the tax raise anyway.
