I heard due to the amounts of radiation it will take like 200+ years to reach levels that aren't lethal. Also there's a plan to put a large dome-like building around it to reduce the radiation (?)

They sealed it in a dome of concrete but so much of the dirt and buildings contain radiotive material it will be at least 150 years before they can even consider going back

I think back in the mid-late 90s there was another nuclear spill in Japan. Hirochi Ouchi was a maintenance guy and was testing some radioactive material, it produced Gama-radiation and he took a big blow of it. I don't want to get too graphic but it was so terrible, the hospital kept him alive for 3 months to study him. He got hit with like 2X the lethal exposure of radiation.

If you want you can google him. Viewer Discretion Advised.

Have picture of what it looks like now. Buildings slowly rotting away, and the animals roaming around. We are at the mercy of our own inventions.
