When they say extremism in the US, they really mean anyone not like them. They are the extremists who refuse to accept anyone else's beliefs; much like isis. And look who are the most violent of the political groups in the US, those trying to "counter extremism."

Don't get your shorts in a bunch just yet. The Strong Cities Network is just a paper connection between law enforcement agencies to aid in fighting extremists. In other words, they'll be fighting with red tape. Any downside to this waste of time and money will be lost in the bureaucratic nightmare that is the fate of all UN programs, and the extremists in the District of Calamity responsible for it can be voted out in November. We are going to vote them out, aren't we? If not, we'll have to keep an eye on this nonsense to make sure it doesn't become effective.

If it's a UN program it'll never become effective. In fact if it follows the norm it'll just become another roadblock.

Maybe you should actually research what Strong Cities is about. It does not involve UN troops in any country, much less the US. It is simply a set of strategies and guidelines to help local governments fight extremism. Brietbart is not, by any means, an accurate source for anything.

PO2 Nick Burke - Actually it does, people are posting opinions for and against SCN who clearly have no idea what it is.
