This is the real news story of our Presidents Speech not the false stories out there that say he told troops to rise up against the new administration. You do not have to agree with him but he makes some good points and to the appropriate audience. In this day and age the troops do have to understand to an extent what the Commander and Chief is or was thinking.

can't vote down yet he is scared of his shadow and it shows no taking it to the bad guys just a soup sandwich he will be gone in a few weeks

I am not saying I agree with Obama and look forward to the needed change. One of my reasons for posting was the false news reports that stated he was encouraging the military to rise up against the new administration which would be wrong. These false news reports only fuel the already decisive trends we are seeing in our great nation today.

For a supposedly smart Adjunct professor of Constitutional Law he does not know squat about the UCMJ.
The NY Times leaves out: Obama told the troops, “each of us has…the universal right to speak your minds and to protest against authority; to live in a society that’s open and free; that can criticize our president without retribution.”
