Outstanding observations and one that it seldom used due to the political nature of the subject. Obamacare has nothing to do with an individual and their medical care. It has to do with maintaining power and control over a voting block. I still have not found healthcare in the Constitution so a way to fix Obamacare is to remove the Federal government from it completely and let the States compete in the free market.

I have to say, regardless of everyone's personal view of President Trump he is at least sticking to the things he proposed on his campaign trail. It took Obama less than a month to discount and not follow any of his touting from his campaigning. The vision and goal that Obama preached was "affordable health care". The premiums are still high and increasing, the cost of medical insurance hasn't declined but continues to increase as well. So when did it become affordable? I will tell you that the medical insurance companies lauded Obama for requiring all Americans to carry medical insurance, to the benefit of the insurance companies. Trying to get Americans to see this is unbelievably next to impossible. I think partly because some of our great citizens measure their views and ultimately their decisions solely on emotions. Nothing wrong with emotions, they serve us well in our own lives and in relationships; however, to base your behaviors, your way of life and decisions solely on emotions is probably not the most "logical" or fruitful direction to follow in life. Enough said...
