As a military retiree I'm not overly concerned with or a fan of ACA however I simply do not understand the political motivation to do away with something that has helped so many Americans get healthcare. Are there problems; of course but it seems we should be focused on fixing those as opposed to repealing the whole thing with no alternative to offer solely because of political concerns. I worked at a company that provided healthcare for full time employees but saw more and more employees decline coverage simply because they couldn't afford the monthly cost or deductibles. When ACA came around these employees, along with part timers, were able to get healthcare coverage once again. Were ACA costs low, no but they were more affordable than what our company offered and frankly healthcare costs were continually rising for my entire 20 year civilian job career so I just don't buy the ACA caused costs to rise claim. Congress should be focused on fixing what is wrong with ACA, not repealing it!

Well I will say that it more complex to end a Govt program once it's starts. This will be very interesting.

Oh, I almost for got. If you have kids in College, you as parents can no longer cover them on your medical insurance. Plus, if you have pre-existing conditions, you can be denied medical coverage. So disabled veterans, looks like VA hospitals ONLY...

The best way to efficiency is less bureaucracy. Part of the problem with bureaucracy is that it is inherently costly and inefficient yet the idea exists that it can be reorganized, supervised in a better manner or be made more responsive to become more efficient. In reality it is more often removed, not improved, in this process. Bureaucracy clings to the past as it shrinks our incentive to dream, imagine and contribute. It causes an organizations to remain incompetent at its core. The larger the bureaucracy the more stagnant the top down leadership flow becomes. Yet we continue to insists added this burden on to government.
