Think of it this way: By being in congress, it keeps her away from jobs in areas like air traffic control, nuclear power plant administration and operation, healthcare, or driving a large truck on public roads.

She tweeted - "“How many other House Democrats have a degree in Economics like I do? Trying to find who out here is going to be in the Gini Coefficient Appreciation Squad.”
Yet stated - “unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids.”
If you have one job, two jobs, three jobs or more, you don’t count as unemployed. Whether you are working 40 hours or 80 hours or 120 hours a week, if you’re working, that has no effect on the unemployment rate, either.
What she fails to understand is that many of her radical "socialists" plans are based on her facts and ability to do math. The error-filled remarks and flawed logic derived by Ocasio-Cortez confirm the assumption that many people have, however compassionate these progressive programs maybe, socialist have no clue as to how they will pay for them other than take it from those that are successful in a capitalist economy.
There in lies the problem - socialism only works because its subsidized by capitalism.
