Ocasio-Cortez Doubles Down, Says VA Problems Are a 'Myth'

It is amazing what comes out of her mouth. There are some good VA hospitals, but from everything I read, they are not the majority.

I had a really bad experience with a "pain specialist" between refusing to acknowledge the injury and degree of pain I had she refused to accept I had zero relief from fentanyl patches I even returned the patches to her to show I didn't absorb the medication so after 3 weeks of nothing except a lit of tylenol. Advil and aleve she allowed me. .5 mg methadone saying it was 1000 time stronger than morphine which didn't work she told me that I had to nitrate up on more gabapentin regardless of the effects I was having she then told my wife I was disabled to get over it. The problem with the VA is the doctors have to spend more time typing than they do actually treating you. My current rehab medicine doctor is wonderful hes got me not only in civilian physical therapy but a civilian pain management team that's working really hard to help me so I think this goes to the facility I had my psych exam and passed that with no problem so its really a good and bad. I will say as a former military and civilian surgical technician the care I got from the endoscopy team was great. Very professional and caring
