This is an excellent resource which all homeless vets should know about but probably most do not just because of their circumstances they are unable to avail themselves of resources at the feeder and even local level. Learning of the resources could be a big initial problem. Living on the street a person doesn't have access or sometimes the drive to seek out and find resources when day to day survival is on your mind. Most people like you and I do not know any homeless vets and people panhandling at street lights with a sign that says 'Vet' often look of a dubious character, to begin with. Not a good situation. Takes a lot of outreach on the part of agencies and organizations to carry their services to the homeless community, including vets.
