Ohio National Guard deploys 150 military police to Washington, D.C. for ongoing security

Hmmm, Is DC now a police state? What do you call a government body that needs 25,000 troops in order to feel secure from its own people? Illegitimate comes to mind, a dictatorship is another, fascist also comes to mind.

begs the question, considering all the rhetoric from the last 5 years, did Trump require 25,000 troops to secure DC from the people? Asking for a friend, because , you know, there were a lot of claims of being illegitimate, fascist, and a dictator from his opponents.

25k troops, because a few hundred did something stupid, 3 weeks ago, imagine the outcry had trump ordered troops to secure Portland, yet some here applaud this.

Sounds just like any other dictatorship...
