Wow PO1 Tony Holland. It is wonderful that the old explosives were discovered before they either exploded or potentially contaminated the neighborhood.

"...some apparently active and some inert..."

In other words, some were NOT "military explosives". Which, in light of today's journalistic standards, makes me wonder about the status of the "apparently active" munitions.

"Most of the devices were duds, but concerns about a case of ammunition and other items kept them from lifting the evacuation."

A case of ammunition is NOT "explosives", folks.

But, figure the odds of finding out the results of the "other items" when this is over. Probably all inert.
