Ole Miss to stop playing Dixie at football games this fall

There is a popular belief that President Lincoln, upon hearing the celebration outside the White House following Lee's surrender, stepped onto the balcony and asked the band below to play "Dixie" as he thought it was a delightful tune. It had been banished during the Civil War and he wanted to hear it again. Maybe some future President will make the same request when this new uncivil war (Political Correctness) ends. It will end some day, won't it?
