The American Women's Gymnastic Team was simply amazing again this year and I know that we take great pride in every one of the members. Still, I look back occasionally to remember another performance that I have never quite gotten over. Olga Korbut in the 1972 Olympics in Munich. Although complex dismounts had not yet become standard in performances on the uneven parallel bars, I don't believe that anyone ever matched her routine. Imagine what it might have looked like had she added a modern dismount.
