We eat out very seldom. Zero times this week. Tomorrow night eating out. VFW Christmas dinner.

We don't eat out frequently. Usually once or twice a month. And I work out frequently and I move as much as possible.

Hard to do that in North Texas we have sooooooo many choices in restaurants and they are all very good plus pretty cheap compared to other states. The kicker is the fast service, it's faster most of the time to eat out then it is to cook in.

I can cook really well at least I am told by other folks at the table. However, I do not like left overs and I haven't got to the point where I have learned to cook just enough food that there aren't any leftovers. So when I stay in and cook I feel bad about the food that I have to pitch. Usually, when I eat out, very little goes to the garbage. Also and even more amazing, most of the time when I eat out, I eat less than when I eat in and so I lose weight slightly most but not all the time I eat out..........so figure that one out as it kind of contradicts the article. I just learned how to make Blackened Chicken on a Cast Iron skillet...restaurants can't compare with my blackened chicken and the positive is I can use the leftovers as topping on a cold salad the next day. If I could learn how to cook like that more often (using and liking the leftovers)........I would save some money and cook in more often.
