One Hundred Years Since the Murder of the Russian Royal Family

100 Years Ago Today - July 17, 1917. Czar Nicholas II & his family were murdered by the Bolsheviks in Russia. Among his family that perished included his wife- Alexandra, son- Alexi and four daughters: Olga, Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia. Their deaths brought to an end, an over 300 year reign by the Romanov Dynasty in Russia. Interestingly, the Romanov's bodies have all been exhumed and are now on display in St. Petersburg.

I'd seen the !material on the finding of the remains, incl Anastasia, that pretender turned out to be a total fraud, of course, despite the movie with Yul Brynner and tat actress who'd played her, Ingmar Bergman, the one who'd played the female leads with Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca...there are a zillion other YouTube videos on their funeral a few yrs ago, I figured you might find it of interest, there was also a quite gruesome film on the whole thing, about how and when it happened, I've seen that on YouTube also, if you want it, I'm sure you can easily find it, of course, it does get quite grisly, obviously...look also for a Russian film called Kolchal, about Adm Kolchak, who headed the White Russians, after Lenin took over during WW1....

Just this sort of thing, I read the Royal family of England does not travel together so as to avoid the entire bloodline dying in an accident or assassianation. In the very early history of the world wiping out a bloodline is what guaranteed the permanent solution. Interesting LTC (Join to see), enjoyed it.
