Tell me again how important this is, please. I and my wife are over 65, she has diabetes (totally unfair, she's never been overweight and never had a sweet tooth, but there you are), and so we take care of ourselves because it's OUR job, not yours. And now this. Why are governments mandating these types of measures if they are unwilling to aggressively quarantine the exposed, which is scientifically the correct thing to do?

The rule of medicine has always been to quarantine the sick...but in a deranged society where you refuse to "discriminate" between criminals and law abiding citizens this is what you get.

It's not! It's conditioning the populace to fear responses for control. Some people, actually quite a few, are easily frightened, because "government said so," not realizing government is made up by greedy and power hungry human beings capable of great misdeeds.
