Op-ed: The danger of trusting gut instincts to decide whether a military action is proportional

Two college student writing a piece on the LOAC, even thought they never mention it. They also never mention that the President has arguably the best informed "gut" in the world due to the quality and quantity of intelligence agencies building briefings for him every morning. But, I think they have a point: that we all have biases and if we trust our gut too much, we may not be making the most objective, fact-based analysis.
