It is not often that I do a film review, but this was an interesting film, impactful when thinking about early special operations in a denied area. The movie is about the Korean War, just before the Inchon Landing. Funny, my address was on the USS Inchon for 6 months in 1977. Never thought I would go to Inchon, but have been there many times from 1987 to last Sept. I always enjoy watching the tide and thinking about an amphibious landing in that area.
It will be very meaningful that have done tours there. We often have terrain walks of Civil War Battlefields. I think a walk of Inchon and the flats when the tide is out would be much more meaningful.

I've seen the previews-it does look good. I was going to see either that or Anthropoid tonight...the assassination attempt of Reinhard Heydrich does look awesome.

Don't know if this will see the light of day in the states. Korea apparently makes many war movies.

I was happy that MacA was in and showing US support. It is a good movie and is number 1 in Korea. It was released 2 weeks ago. The two big Korean actors, that CPT Jung and the North Korean were in Los Angeles this weekend promoting the movie in USA.
I am happy the movie is not anti-US. There are some nK defectors who are saying that it is anti-North Korean and not a good movie.

Remember it is a South Korean movie. But many theaters have foreign movies now days.
