Sounded pretty much like any possible night in the Security Forces barracks since we worked rotating shifts, there was always a Flight off doing something.

It's funny because it's true. I remember sitting with some Marines and Sailors on Corry, in CT Barracks called, "the Ghetto" because these barracks had seen better days. The smoke pit was large enough for 20+ people to sit and there was a covered portion as well. Guys would bring their guitars out and would strum, sing a long or just shoot the shit with strumming some chords. They would bring some snacks (like chips, cookies from care packages) sharing with anyone who would want them. They would also have very interesting debates from who has the best beer to the best bar that serves the best drink. Some funny conversations and inside jokes came from that smoke pit. Good times.
