Opinion | America’s own Cultural Revolution

Another complete miss by the Washington Post, par for the course. If anything, we might have been pulled back a little bit from a possible cultural revolution from the American left. Look at the PC culture the left has tried to hoist upon Americans. Words you cannot say, thoughts that are inappropriate, violence in the streets when they do not get their way. The vilification of legitimate law enforcement officers duly appointed/elected etc. The attack of national symbols such as the flag and the national anthem.

The left wants larger, more intrusive and controlling government. They want to control you through legislation, regulation, taxes, the courts, speech control, demanded adherence to their world views etc. The right is looking for less government, lower taxes, less regulation, more ability to determine your own path.

The passing of the Trump tax plan is a perfect example of this. Who is lowering taxes and fines (individual mandate). Who is allowing exploration of oil in ANWAR so we can be more energy independent and likely pay less in the long run for petroleum and we will have less of a reason to worry about the middle east and their oil production.

The American left wants you to pay more taxes, have a larger central government that controls more of your life and increases regulation and laws to keep you less free. If there is a cultural revolution coming to America it will be brought to you by the American left and their socialist/communist world view.
