I guess I will worry about that when I am making over $137,700, but the larger point here is about who pays for tax increases, and what the former VP said.
Math is math. It is unambiguous and not prone to spin.
To put it simply, Biden's plan to repeal the Trump tax cuts is a boon to wealthy folks in high-tax states. Those are the ones that win. any notion that it is good for anyone else is BS.

Absolutely! I do know however of people who is retirement exceeds $137,700 by a wide margin. A married couple making about the same and they'll be pulling in close to $400k a year just in retirement. Welcome to California where they were giving away lucrative deals. Not anymore. We're broke. And they're sticking it to the little guy. I'm a little guy. You're absolutely correct that math is not ambiguous. Either the numbers add up or they don't.

He has been consistent in raising taxes, pretty much every time.

The point is is that he's been lying to people telling them that they would only have their taxes raised if they made over $400,000 a year. The real number is $137,700.
