Many African countries, having shaken off the yoke of colonialism, colonial puppet governments, and having witnessed the theft of most of their natural resources, seem to be doing pretty well.

There is mass migration from Africa and Asia to “better” parts of the world, for the same reason Europeans came to America in massive waves...seeking a better life. The Irish came fleeing famine and starvation. The Italians fleeing wars. The French and the Dutch fleeing religious persecution. The Jews fleeing all of the above. What we are seeing in Africa and some parts of Asia has been going on for 2000 years, but I predict technology will usher in a reverse migration, as we run out of potable water and arable land, and we witness another land grab for places thought to be uninhabitable.

When I was in Germany a long time ago, the lead in the gasoline was thought to be killing all of the trees. Although they’ve removed the lead from the gasoline, I suspect it is in the soil along with other persistent chemicals and in the food and water, and may be contributing to the declining populations of native Europeans. Like it or not, Europeans will be forced to open their doors to a young, cheap labor force, just like America.

Obviously, you seem to be ignoring the waves of Europeans still trying to get into the land of the big PX. If things were so great in Europe, why do we have to have quotas of Europeans wanting to come to live and work in the United States? Wars? Nope. Famine? Nope. Religious persecution? Nope. They come here for a better life, just like everyone else.
