Oregon Passes Law Allowing The Courts To Seize Guns From Anyone - Even If They Are Not Present

Not sure about the CSC group so I went out and found a bunch of articles on this, they all say the same so here you go.
While this is written from a Pro gun point of view its assertions are valid. This "law" was put in place under the guise that its help potential suicide victims by allowing friends, family, and the courts to take any guns they may have..... Truth is its a smoke screen, if someone is going to commit suicide they will find a way, your rights are violated with zero input from you and on the say of random strangers or people who may have an ax to grind. Kid pissed at their parents encouraged by the schools, liberal family members pushing their agenda on relatives, police deciding to disarm people... Its gun confiscation period.... This is the utopia the left dream of and that fact a Rep was pushing it makes me question if he really is a Rep. Oregon has a drug epidemic going on right now, people are shot by drug users and dealers everyday, they have homeless breaking in to everything stealing everything and doing drugs everywhere. Now they want to disarm the population so people are safe? Who is safe from disarmed law-abiding citizens? Criminals that's who, how long till all the druggy's realize they can get away with anything in OR and start mobbing peoples homes. The same people that are being disarmed.

The gun grabbers will grab firearms by any means necessary, Constitutional law be damned! Anyone supporting this crap is part of the problem.

SPC Jon O. - As I said above "Sadly many of us veterans turn paramilitary cop" are the reason this is happening. These corrupt politicians and judges aren't going to the dirty work themselves, they use the lap dogs of the beast system to do it for them.

So, does this law presume that "Guns cause suicide" ?
Or is it that Americans are so incompetent in suicide that they can't keep up with the suicide rates of other nations, even with the use of guns for that purpose?
The USA, # 1 in gun ownership, is in 50th place worldwide, tied with Uruguay at 12.1 suicides per 100,000. That is far behind "gun free" South Korea with the second highest suicide rate in the world ----- 28.9 / 100,000, even though South Korea is 148th in the world in gun ownership with 1.1 guns per 100 people.
If you prefer to look at a European Culture for comparison, it is interesting to note that while Lithuania has the lowest rate of gun ownership in Europe, 0.7 per 100 people,(~ 64% the rate of South Korea) it still manages to somehow attain the 4th highest suicide rate in the entire world, 28.2 per 100,000.
The highest rate of suicide (44.2 / 100,000) is in Guyana, where there are apparently not enough guns to go around, and the prevalent suicide method is poisoning oneself with insecticides.

Yes by hook or by crook, they will violate any amendment in the name of socialist progress. They believe that their rights trump everyone else's rights, their free speech is more important than yours, their right to feel safe trumps your right to be safe.

And they aint done! They will not stop until we stop being distracted by the divide and conquer tactical operations being played out daily. I'm 90% sure it's too late for the people to take our rights back. It's game over because we are too far gone!
