This has been all over this morning Col. Lame duck on the way out or just bitter. If the CR is passed down- I believe he will be the first sitting president to leave office with out ever passing a budget. No matter how someone feels- that is not a distinction I would like to carry.

Maj Marty Hogan Thanks, I didn't know that. Wow...a two-term president who has never passed a budget. Yes, I don't think anyone could paint that as a success.

Col Joseph Lenertz - I am trying to find the figures behind it. We may have had 1 early on, but system is slow today. National debt is $20T and in 8 years grew from $6T. Love the FB meme that always shows what he did- I had one the rebuked it and included the websites where the facts were taking from- usually the government's own sites- US Treasury, OPM, etc. Low information is good in politics.

I had assumed (incorrectly), that if I attempted to share a link that had already been shared, RP software would kick it back at me. NOW I know. thanks. :)

Col Joseph Lenertz - I actually don't mind in these situations- this is info everyone needs. I believe it shows what we are all worried about and what is on our minds.

This would be a veto he would loose a battle over, not good for his "legacy". Lots of Democrats voted, good example of crossing the aisles.

Good the men and women that are fighting deserve it. And hopefully this will also be an increase for the retirees.
