My city (Tucson) just got their very own AHL (1 step below NHL) team, the Tucson Roadrunners. A great team with a lot of up and coming talent. I went to their home opener and did get to see a few fights that the refs let go on for a bit before breaking them up.

PO1 John Miller I enjoy minor leagues because you have players who are trying to prove they belong at the next level. They try harder. Sometimes it leads to something amazingly good, sometimes amazingly bad, but most of the time it is entertaining.
