I recall a recent Sixty Minutes segment related to Picasso. It seems that a former handyman of the late artist tried to pass off as a gift a treasure-trove of Picasso's work and that the artist considered him a great friend. Picasso's children would have none of that and a court of the EU agreed with the children. It is a great shame for a married couple who had the honor of serving Picasso during his dying days to attempt to steal from the family.

Thanks for reminding us Maj Marty Hogan that today is the anniversary of the birth of Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright Pablo Picasso who spent most of his adult life in France.
He certainly was an influential painter and sculptor.
