FOR ALL USCG THAT HAVE SAILED ON THE CGC RELIANCE:

Hear ye hear ye hear ye come one and come on to read about our exposure to asbestos and lead… This is nothing that we did not already know but please make sure it gets into your current medical record or if you have separated into your VA record

We all know the old girl was commissioned with rust dust and now looks like lead!!!

I don't want to do it but for the sake of my wife I better get another physical. I lost some of my finger in CG but 1972 VA was not understanding back then.

I served on her 1970-1971. When the 3 Inch would fire dust would come down on us in the her thing area. So what symptoms would one have from exposure to asbestos and lead? I have had many attacks of asthma after I got out of CG.
