Paintball shootings splatter cities after rapper calls for swapping handguns for paintball...

My son and I play paintball quite regularly, and have been for about the past five years. We play nearly every weekend at local fields and also in major scenario games, and I am almost ashamed to say that our paintball marker arsenal comes close to rivaling that out our real steel arsenal...some of our markers, the quality ones, cost more than some of our actual firearms. I will also say that the paintball community does not condone any of this and true paintballers would never do anything like this. Many people consider these things toys, but when a .68 cal paintball hits an unprotected eye at 285 fps that eye is a goner...and proves that they are not toys. We know this, which is way safety is so important at the field...and that is the only place paintball markers should be used...at the field, with the proper mask.

There is a reason paintball 'warriors' wear protective gear. Those things hurt if they hit unprotected flesh. I have seen paintballs raise welts that ooze blood and one could definitely put out an eye.

This is a stupid idea that will get more people killed.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint not that I condone vandalism, but I have known three people who own Porsche's. One is a cousin. All are pretentious, self absorbed, self important, nutjobs. So maybe seeing them taken down a peg is not so bad. On the flip side, there is indeed a real possibility of the idiots receiving return fire that does not contain a paintball.
