History is the past, knowing history helps guide us so past mistakes are not repeated.

I have a bad feeling that most of what I was taught while likely be written out (some of it already has). I keep telling my kids to learn all you can and to be surprised when they do learn something and it's completely different a few years later. I find it bothersome that we re-write the things we do not agree with to fit the narrative of the time.

If your children are to learn it, it must come from you. Indoctrination has replaced education in our schools and the history you and I learned is considered subversive. My granddaughters often look at me in wonder as I recount "our story" as I learned and lived it and fear that I may be a demon from hell by the standards their teachers are setting

CPT Jack Durish - Exactly. I often get into heated discussions with their teachers because of the garbage they teach and how they approach teaching it. I think they also need to remove personal feelings from the classroom setting altogether.
