Does she think that they will give up using him as a tool to spread hate? I wish i had even that much respect for them

IMV, Trump is a Johnny-come-lately to this discussion ... and is poisoning the well. I have taken exception to this "taking a knee" silliness since Kaepernick went down the first time. What is being disrespected, IMV, is not the military - those who have served and those that are serving - but the best ideals of our country that the flag and anthem represent. Disrespecting that does nothing to remedy the worst of America ... and rather than getting grass stains on their knees ... those doing so should find something to involve themselves in that makes our country better, stronger, and more united. Working with disadvantaged youth that are killing each other in the inner cities would be a hell of a good start.
