CBS Announced this as well. John Luc Picard is back!!!! He is going to appear in the new series Star Trek Discovery in season #2 which resumes on CBS, I think on January 17th, 2019. To those that did not see Star Trek Discovery Season #1 is is available via CBS Open Access subscription and I must say Star Trek Discovery is very well done as a TV Series.
