It's very dangerous in Missouri because of the flood. Many die because they attempt to drive or walk i flood waters.

Thanks for sharing. Maybe Missouri needs to pass a "Dumb Motorist" law like we have here in Arizona. Meaning if you get caught in a flood through your own fault and have to be rescued, you can get charged/fined.

"If it's a flood, you don't know what's under the water so don't risk it..." has always served me well! It is tragic though that people, especially US Soldiers, lost their lives over something that could so easily have been avoided.

Its too bad for their families. It constantly amazes me how many folks get caught up in flooded waters. I would be willing to give these guys a pass as they are not from here.
I like the AZ law though. Despite constant reminders in the press to avoid flooded streets, folks around here are always getting trapped and rescued.
