Patton tank back with fresh paint at Army’s Central Command HQ at Shaw

I can't say these days, but back in the early 90's there was a group of retired vets working on restoring old armour etc at Knox, one ole time told me they had enough stuff stored away awaiting repairs, paint etc that it would take 150 years to get to them all. I do know several of the older tanks on display at Knox are drivable, I have seen them drive them off the pad load them up and take them to Louisville for display every May for the air show stuff.

These things need to be repainted periodically especially if they are stationed outside.
