Ms Pelosi simply cannot tolerate a hint of dissention from her policy positions.
Were public opinion to turn on her in mid-October, it could have serious ramifications at the ballot box in a couple weeks.
Hence the clapback.
She probably expected a much friendlier interview. I'll bet the staffer that set this up got an earful.

I think San Francisco residents have a serious problem with her as does every resident of this country that needs that stimulus check.

You would think she would have thought this through more. At this point she has to ride that crazy train all the way to what might be her last stop.
