I was fortunate enough to have been there also. Although I missed the first few minutes of his speech because of the security (45 minutes in line, but expected). He was very humble and sincere. After the speech he took time to shake hands and was very personable. He made my 7 year old daughter blush when he started asking her questions. lol
Thank you for this post SFC Davis! People need to know that our vice president is taking time out of his schedule to honor those who are serving and those who have.

Thanks SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL for letting us know that Vice President-elect Mike Pence visited Indiana National Guard's Camp Atterbury and recalled his own late father's modesty about his Korean War service during a Veterans Day speech.
Kudos to Vice President-elect Mike Pence!
