LCDR (Join to see) I don't think so, Commander. They know the consequences if they hold them too long. They're days from billions in sanctions being lifted. This is nothing more than a Fat Boy Leader-level tantrum to make waves. Those Sailors will be on their way soon enough...although you gotta wonder if some heads are going to roll in the Nav.

COL Mikel Burroughs, this is disturbing to watch.
I am curious as to the rules of engagement for not using the weapons on those boats, and ability to get assistance quickly?
Don't we have fighter jets on carriers? The whole situation is distrubing.
I fear that tomorrow morning we will still be held. What's that saying? "possession is 9/10ths of the law"
I smell a rat, and I pray we send in some fire power to get them out, and change our rules of engagement modifying our movement so close to that country.

How did Iran get their hands on two Navy boats? If they were in International Waters, why wasn't air cover standing by to run off the Iranians? If they were illegally in Iranian waters who sent them there knowing full well that Iran would welcome the opportunity to embarrass the US (although we don't need the help. This Administration is perfectly capable of embarrassing itself)
