Pentagon Developing F-35s to Kill ICBMs - Warrior Maven

I'm skeptical of these. One of the main reasons the fully operational status of this bird has taken so long is because they wanted it to be a Swiss Army Knife of the skies, instead of what it should have been all along; the logical replacement for the F-16. I realize it is FINALLY starting to see full operational functions now, but can't we get it to 100% before we start coming up with new gadgets to add on to it?
