SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL My travel vouchers were always as correct as I could make them. I wanted my reimbursement checks as quick as possible w/o delay and questioning!
Sounds fair to me; sloppy travel vouchers should be scrutinized for proper documentation and reciepts

I am confused about this over payment thing...I couldn't even submit my travel voucher unless ALL required documentation was attached. Matter of fact, I closed out two old vouchers ( about 2 years old, around $400 or so total), because I did not have any documentation anymore.

For DoD that may be chump change but for the rest of us $458 million in botched travel payments is a lot of money SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I hope that the money will be redistributed properly and travel payments will be better managed in the near future.

LTC Stephen F. On a personal note, I am glad I don't have my government travel card anymore. I know when it comes time for recoupment and you are guilty, OH NO, "NO PAY DUE". I have been down that road before, its not a good way to travel.
