That is very true. Any Marine will tell you that unless you are standing on a piece of ground you don’t own it. You can not drop enough bombs to do it because while you may deny use of it temporarily, as soon as the bombs stop dropping, the other side will simply move back in and resume owning it again. Boots on the ground is the ONLY way to engage the enemy, ferret them out of their hides, defeat them tactically and take ownership of that land. Common sense 101...
