Pentagon rebrands DTS as 'Don’t Travel System'

I have always enjoyed guessing at what the correct finance code is only to be told I choose the wrong one, even though I picked the code published in the OPORD or email.
It is part of the joy that is being in the service.

This part cracked me up!

“Military folks still keep trying to go TDY,” one DTS software developer told reporters. “They seem to think they are actually getting work done when they travel or maybe they just hate their families. Either way, we haven’t stopped all of them yet.”

Between the Duffel Blog and The Onion, I love reading the satire coming out of those publications. It's refreshing to know that we all have the same thoughts when dealing with some of these mandatory military programs.
