Pentagon worries deploying US troops against drug cartels could damage relations with Mexico

My comment, "This begs the question, what relations? Should we spend another two or three years talking about the issues while over a hundred thousand people a year in the United States die from drugs with over 70K from fentanyl? Let's drag our feet as we're doing with Ukraine. Dribble the arms needed to Ukraine and make the war last longer and create more KIA. I've seen combat and I am not a proponent of war. IMHO if Ukraine doesn't stop Russia, will they move into a NATO country for their next expansion campaign? When that happens we'll spend a ton of money and a lot of U.S. military blood. I am all for giving what Ukraine needs to win over Russia and keep us out of the fight. If Russia wins, China will get froggy and jump into action with our military which has been weakened by the current administration. A military that's not prepared will have catastrophic casualties. One example is the start of the Korean war. We simply were not ready and we did not have thousand kicked out of the military because they didn't take the jab."
