Dodge just finished making it's fastest muscle car yet. The Dodge Demon 170 that puts out 1,025 horsepower on E85 gasoline. It runs 8.9 second quarter miles and requires a parachute of the drag strip. Because of President Biden mandating the end of fossil fuel vehicles in the next few years, people are really taking care of their new gasoline powered muscle cars as well as maintaining older muscle cars. We know Tesla's can be faster with their instant torque but we know that they have a problem with their batteries going bad after 8 years.

8 years from now, most of these muscle cars that are still around are still going to be here unless they caught on fire, are stolen and exported outside the usa, or are involved in car crashes.

I'm sure many electric vehicles at the 8-year Mark will not be getting brand new batteries by their owners because they can't afford the balloon payment. I'm also sure that it will be expensive to afford an electric car and I suspect that 6-year loans will be out of the question because that's pretty much when the car battery goes bad.


It is good to know the England is calling for a pause in transitioning to clean energy because the grid can't handle it, they are not ready and wind and solar is not reliable. Cool fired power plants and natural gas power plants are going to remain because nuclear is too expensive in most cases.

Lately, I've been to three different car shows up here in canada. Muscle cars are hard to keep in Canada because of the rust caused by salt in the road that is used to keep the snow melting during the winter.

There is nothing wrong having an electric car but the American Administration is choosing winners and losers. I'm keeping my 2015 Dodge Challenger. It only has 65,000 miles on it and it's 8 years old. I'm sure you are noticing in the news that electric cars are not selling as much as they thought and people still prefer to have their gas powered or fossil fuel powered vehicle for long distance trips.

I know these cars probably don't get 10 miles per gallon. They are still classic and maybe not as safe as today's vehicles but the USA and Canada still has freedom of choice and many of these muscle cars are restored and driven during the summer months.
