D&B selling this information and then someone lost control of it or deliberately gave free access to it?
My question - Why is D&B selling such granular data to 'thousands of customers?' Why is D&B collecting that type of information to begin with? Maybe D&B is a major reason that we have problems with Credit Reports...
"In terms of where this data specifically came from, D&B don't believe it was directly from one of their systems and with thousands of customers purchasing this information, we may well never know who lost it," says Hunt.
