Perspective | Is this the tipping point for trust in the U.S. military?

Maybe for the loony left. But for the rest of us......NOPE

If a news headline is a question, the answer is always "no." Just bad, clickbait journalism.

In this case. There's no single "tipping point."

Americans are well established to know next to nothing about the military. Most can't even name the four branches. Everyone loves the military, but has no real connection or knowledge to it-- and has no inclination to join themselves.

As the disconnect grows, it seems logical to put less trust in something you know nothing about-- especially when your information only comes from thirdhand sources. Just as Americans have an opinion on climate, taxes, healthcare-- many quite strongly-- but don't know a single policy issue or specific on it, the military is falling in to this same void.
