I will say this again, you cannot hold figures from the past to today's standards, just doesn't work that way. But some of these idiots would ignore how important Jefferson was to this country, hell without Jefferson the U.S. would stop at the mississippi river.

Trying to understand the psychology of liberalism is... in my opinion...rather simple. Some people believe improvement is a constant work in progress, while others believe if something isn't "perfect", you have to throw it away, and start over again. In my experience, there's no such thing as "getting it right the first time"... and practice does indeed make perfect.

I don’t believe you ever get it right. The car was the solution to horse pollution, etc. we just continually resolve problems. I think people in the past had a better handle on common sense than today.

These people are idiots period. Our history (and NO HISTORY) is with out warts, because history is made up of people and people have warts. Lyndon Johnson remained a racist his whole life. Ooops can’t honor him. Martin Luther King had extra marital affairs etc. sorry can’t honor him. Buttigieg your homosexual activity would have been reason to ban you 50 years ago, and maybe 50 years from now, who knows what will trigger who ten years from now.
