I was in a Navy "A" school at that time in Great Lakes. I remember it well, many of us were expecting the worst from this event and were itching to get over there and get her back as well as the crew..She is still a commissioned ship and on the rolls as captive. We still need to take her back, one way or the other.

The PUEBLO is also still carried on the Navy's roll of active duty ships. She will be until she is returned to us.

I don't see that happening anytime soon. They try to use it as porpoganda, but not sure how sucessful that is.
