You might find the Max Planck Society of interests as well. They have a couple of different institutes - physics is in the mix but they cover a number of sciences.

I saw it that is obviously a good site, look also at http://www.ieee.org and http://www.aiaa.org as well as http://www.asme.org and http://www.amsus.org as well as http://www.same.org all on engnrg and engrg physics while http://www.ams.org is for pure and applied math.
