COL Ted Mc great read, I speak from experience. You are traumatize especially after 6 combat deployments. Its hard to turned it off and act like it never happen. It takes time(process).

I don't believe everything carte blanche, however, I do believe his Tribal Approach to give relief to PTSD troops. For many they get downgraded at work, they suffer alone or with the family, and there are some civilians who hate injured veterans. They see no honor in fighting for the country and they feel no compassion for injuries. These are the worst case people, but they do exist. This has held true for a long time, we go to war and civilians go to the mall.

CPT Joseph K Murdock - Captain; I seriously doubt that we are going to make any significant progress until we ACTUALLY internalize the fact that "combat damages the survivors too".

OMG! This author deserves a prize. He has taken the art of pop psychology to a whole new level. I can well imagine the Left jumping all over this and using it as the nuclear option in the politics of envy. The author himself may be proclaimed the messiah of progressivism...
