I say send this Gang Thug to Texas where justice is swift and he will die. In California he will get life without parole. A leech for taxpayers to support. And he also killed his own cousin and stole his car. Real model citizen this guy is. Can't wait to hear his family make excuses for his actions. Not human. Getting tired of Police being shot and killed. Semper Fi.

Furthermore, after 20 years or less the system will release him as a rehabilitated individual. Very common. You other Californians have seen this happen over and over.

I was watching the news and they said that this thug was released early because of overcrowding. IMO the death penalty is a way better solution to that problem, at least then this officer would still be alive...

Yay California! Lets keep paroling career criminals and then blame the guns for all the violence! This dirtbag should never have been let out of jail. Now, instead of just stepping back and letting him bleed out, they spent thousands of dollars saving his life so he can be paroled again in five years and kill someone else. This is why I will never live in that whacked out state.

The gangs are animals, only in californication would they let a low live off before time but that is what they do. The legal system should be brought up in charges and face same penalty as the animal they released.
